Charles L. Lewis, 59, of Great Bend, died
Aug. 28
at Central Kansas Medical Center in Great
Bend.
He was born Oct. 18, 1946, in Kingman,
the son of
Imogene Mayberry. He married Pamela S.
Johansen
on Nov. 1, 1985, at Great Bend. He was
a resident of
Great Bend since 1983, coming from Hays.Lewis
was
the co-owner of L - L Motorsports. A member
of
Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3111, he
was a veteran
of the Vietnam War, serving in the U.S.
Air Force as
a pilot.

James Edward Erick, 59, of
Lancaster, passed away
Saturday Dec. 30, 2006, at Fairfield Medical Center.
James was a member of the Lancaster V.F.W. post
1516 and AMVETS post 1985.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Darlene;
daughters, Kimberly Fannin of Lancaster and
Kara (Duane) Strosnider of Lancaster; grandchildren,
Kindra Fannin, Hayley Fannin, Casey Strosnider
and
Keith Graves; one aunt; and two uncles.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernie
and
Wanda Withem.
Services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Frank
E. Smith
Funeral Home, Lancaster, with Randy Hutchison
officiating. Friends and family may visit from
2-4 and
6-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Caring
Cremation will follow. Burial will take place
at a later date.
Memorial gifts may be made in James' name to
Fairhope Hospice, 1111 E. Main St., Lancaster,
OH 43130.
